Ceramic braces are a type of fixed brace and work in a similar way to traditional metal braces. However, ceramic braces replace the visible metal bracket with a clear ceramic alternative, so they will be less visible, yet retain all the precision of a traditional fixed metal brace. At the beginning of your treatment, we’ll carefully attach a clear bracket to the front of each tooth. These brackets are connected by a clear or tooth-coloured wire which will gently move your teeth into the desired position. You’ll need to pop back to see us approximately every eight weeks so we can see how things are improving and to make any necessary adjustments.
For more straightforward cases, your treatment could be completed in just a few months, but however long your journey takes, we guarantee the results will be worth the wait.
